The Heavenly Bride is a sporadically produced sci-fi romance (with elements of horror). I consider it a true Amer-manga: the blend of manga and anime influences with the fact that I happen to be an American. (You can thank Speed Racer for that.) If I had to classify it as a manga, I’d probably call it a fantasy-romance josei doujinshi<\/strong> – and have to stop there because I just don’t know. Book classifications are confusing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heavenly Bride is the dramatic companion story to Akashik: Battle of Angels<\/a>. On the World Akashik timeline, it’s set years before the events in Akashik begin. It’s told mostly from the point of view of the vampire that fell hopelessly in love with Taus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It started out completely hand-drawn, but things change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It produces very slowly because life has other demands from time to time. Someday perhaps my hobby will be more than a hobby and that will change.
